KW cordially invites you to the KW Trackday & Track Performance Training at Bilster Berg.

This exclusive event is aimed at existing KW dealers who have already installed a suspension system from our KW Track Performance product range – KW Clubsport or KW Racing. If that applies to you, you definitely shouldn't miss this event.

Under the motto "always at your side," you can expect a varied and practical three-day program focusing on KW Racing and modern suspension technology. Together with our motorsport and development engineers, we will share our many years of experience from professional racing and demonstrate in a practical way how to optimally tune a suspension.

Throughout the entire event, the KW team, including KW Race Service and our experienced development engineers, will be on hand to provide you with comprehensive support and expertise.

NET offers technical support including a technical workshop directly in the paddock.

early evening program

  • 5:00 PM: Theory training “KW Track Performance Training”
    Speaker: Thomas Rechenberg, KW Motorsport CEO

In the one-hour training session, Thomas Rechenberg shares his many years of experience as a motorsport racing engineer and provides in-depth insights into the working methods, principles and tuning philosophies of KW Racing suspension systems.

  • From 6:30 pm: BBQ & Get-Together
    In a relaxed atmosphere with culinary highlights and cool drinks, we will bring the evening to a pleasant close together.

Important information

To ensure optimal communication during the event, a WhatsApp group will be set up through which all important information will be shared in real time.

Participation requirement

Each participating vehicle must be equipped with a KW Racing or KW Clubsport suspension.

Main event day

  • 8:30 a.m.: Drivers' briefing
  • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Train service in two groups
    • Vehicles with road approval
    • Vehicles without road registration
  • 1:00 PM: One hour of engine rest
  • 12:00 – 14:00: Lunch in the form of a high-quality buffet in the TURN ONE Restaurant

Each group receives a total of four hours of pure driving time, divided into four turns.

Media package & documentation

The participation fee includes:

  • Professional motorsport photography from the photo agency "Gruppe C"
    Each participant will subsequently receive a download link for free use of the images.
  • A high-quality highlight video from KW, which will be made available to all participants free of charge.

Taking your own photos and videos is only permitted after prior consultation and approval by KW. A separate safety briefing at Bilster Berg is required for this.

Hotels

Participants are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms.

Rules and guidelines

Rules without road approval:

  • Unregistered cars are allowed on the track. Slick tires are permitted.
  • Liability among participants is excluded. Liability towards the facilities of the organizer and NBR GmbH remains unaffected.

Road - legal rules:

  • Only legally registered vehicles are allowed on the route. Temporary license plates and other types of license plates are not permitted!
  • Only street-legal tires / NO SLICKS !
  • Liability between the participants remains in effect.

General rules:

  • The event is solely intended to improve vehicle control in order to be able to move more safely in public road traffic in the future.
  • Achieving top speeds or intending to race is strictly prohibited. In cases of suspected violations, the organizer reserves the right to exclude the participants in question from the event without refunding the entry fee.
  • Each participant must complete the online briefing and sign the liability waiver before the training begins. This data will be stored by us and shared with the relevant party as needed.
  • Paid rides or rideshares, such as "taxi rides," and instructions from persons and instructors not authorized by the organizer are not permitted. Violations will result in immediate exclusion from the event.
  • Security:
    • Wearing a helmet is MANDATORY!
    • Passengers must be at least 16 years old.
    • Maximum speed in the pit lane: 10 km/h.
    • Cameras must be mounted inside the car.

Noise regulation:

  • Due to current legal regulations, only vehicles with a noise level of no more than 98 dB(A) when passing by are permitted to drive on the Bilster Berg circuit . Participants exceeding this limit will be informed and given the opportunity to correct it. Any further exceedance will result in a driving ban from the event without a refund of the entry fee.
  • Examples of vehicles classified as critical:
